ARCHIVE UPDATE, Wolfen

I’ve started the Wolfen page at long last.  The first entry is none other than Asgarh (pictured here).

I’ve had to put updates to the archive on hold for a while due to other responsibilities, but now hope to make regular (albeit small) updates on a daily basis until the project is done.  I have lots of great things to upload, so check back often.  Better yet, you can subscribe to the blog by entering your email address in the appropriate location in the bar on the left, or via RSS feed.

ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATE, 03 June 2011

I’ve just added a ton of links to several new companies (and some established companies I neglected to add earlier) to the appropriate section in the left column.

I should also note that due to the size of this list, I’ve decided to make a parent page with several subpages to make this easier to navigate and, above all, more useful for visitors.

I still can’t believe how many companies there are, especially those that appeared in just the last few years!

Here’s the list of what’s been added:

Agora Miniatures

AK Interactive

Cauldron Born Miniatures

Countess Games

Cthulhuminati

Frontline Games

Happy Seppuku Model Works

Lurkio

Oshiro Model Terrain

Paymaster Games

Pega Mini Design

Pro Gloria miniatures

Puppets War

Quantum Gothic

Recreational Conflict (Lead Bones)

Skytrex

Space: 1889

Steel Crown Productions (Exodus Wars)

Tabletop Game Terrain

Voodoo Worx

Administrative Update, 03 April 2011

My apologies for the lack of posts and updates over the past month.  I was in Japan for the first two weeks of March, and did not have a single spare moment while there.  Then the earthquake hit….

I’ve spent the last two weeks getting settled back into my work and taking care of several other responsibilities, but am now in a position where I can resume regular updates to this site.  Although other obligations prevented me from posting anything in March, I kept notes.  I also have some painted models to share, which will go up later today.

Administrative Update, 28 February 2011

I’ve just added a link to a PDF document featuring the formula I used to paint the Bronze Age Miniatures troll.

I’ve also added Barony Miniatures.

Finally, for my DP friend FuryHound, I’m going to spend some time today updating the Cadwallon section.  Stay tuned!

Administrative Update, 27 February 2011

I’ve just added several companies to the appropriate section in the column on the right.  Some of the companies I neglected to add long ago (sorry, Victoria and D. Forge), others are older companies I discovered only recently, many are new.  I’m continually amazed by how many companies there are now–and more are on the way.

Spanish Inquisition (Victoria Miniatures)

WS&S, back in print

Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy is back in print.  I’ve added a link to the magazine section in the column on the left.  Great to have them back, and congratulations to the Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy crew.

Administrative Update, 31 December 2010

I’ve deleted Bat Cave Miniatures and 50 Paces from the list of companies as their respective links are dead.  I’ve added a link to Blight Wheel Miniatures, a sample of whose wares are featured in this post.

Confrontation 3, cards

I’ve added a page to the Confrontation section featuring links to download the ZIP files containing most of the cards for C3.  These are the same files that were available on the old Rackham Web site.  The files are available in both French and English.

Administrative Update, new company link

I’ve added a link to Romeo Models in the “COMPANIES” link section.  Romeo makes a wide range of fantasy and historical models from 54mm to 90mm, and a great collection of quality display bases.  Be sure to check them out.  One of my favorites is the Gallic Warrior with Carnyx (I Century B.C.) featured here.

Administrative Update, banner

I’ve updated the banner for the site.  I’m learning how to use Photoshop at the moment, and fixing the banner for Under the Mountain was at the top of the list.  I’ll likely be tweaking things a bit more, but by and large this represents what I was hoping for the first time around.

Now to fix the footer for my signatures on the forums on frequent.

P.S. I realize the Archive has been neglected for the past several weeks, but want to assure you that I’ll get back to that project as soon as I can.

Mannikin Miniatures

Perhaps some of you noticed the addition of a new page, Mannikin Miniatures ©.  I’ll make an announcement about the new venture soon, and the Web site will be up and running by November at the latest.  In the meantime, check here for updates, or visit the Dragon Painting forum, where you’re sure to find me conversing under my alias, yamaneko.

Up and Running Again!

Thank you, WordPress.  Also, the new theme is definitely better than the old.  I’m currently familiarizing myself with things, and plan to take advantage of the new offerings very soon.

Not happy…

Apparently my old theme is no longer supported by WordPress.  My sincere apologies for any trouble and frustration this is causing.  I’m working on the problem, and hope to have it resolved shortly.

Administrative Update, 07 July 2010

I’ve added the following links to their respective headings in the column on the right:

Things have slowed down around here lightly due to an impending international move, but will pick up again once I’m resettled in August.
